I am new to CAS and have a Stoeger coach gun that I would like to use for Cowboy shoots. Was wondering if there were any gunsmiths in the South Georgia/North Florida area that work on these?

You might look under HOME, then at the SASS Wire F.A.Q.   The first listing is cowboy gunsmiths by State.  Hope this helps!   SB

I have one of the new synthetic ones and I think it is neat as all get out. What I did was get a mop, some Mothers' Mag Polish, a drill and rod and drilled out the chambers to slick up those machining marks until I shucked plastic hulls with no problem. I also went over all the bearing surfaces on the hinge/lock and till it dropped open nicely without help. I also polished up the extractor and pin for the same reason.

If you are anywhere close, you can't go wrong with Three Cut.

If you're the least bit handy, Stoegers are pretty easy to work on. Unless you're looking for some pretty extensive modifications.
