12 degrees here as of this post, although the weather report says it feels like 5 degrees.  Beach weather.  Off to shoot a couple rounds of skeet in a little while.

Sunny and 33 here now. Might reach 47 today. I sure hope it snows again soon. Lots and lots of it. I’d like some wind too, please. Not much. 25 mph would be good. If temps stay above zero that would be nice.

Sincerely

Pat (what’s trying to fool Murphy) Riot

Saturday, Feb 8, temp prediction for Houston is 84° and humidity will bring it up to a heat index of 90°

As much as I dislike the cold, I dislike hot and humid even more.

I'll take the hot and humid anyday, easier to drive around with no ice and snow on the streets and AC is a wonderful thing!:)

It's supposed to be -4 tonight, high of -1 tomorrow, -9 tomorrow night, high of -1 Tuesday, -6 Tuesday night, -2 Wednesday... I start my 70th year in ten days, and I really don't know why I've lived all my life in this miserable Great White North.

Our snowblower is getting a workout!  We've had nearly 7 inches since about 8pm yesterday, and had that yesterday.  More coming.  We're getting hammered.

Drove up to the cabin Friday. Hit snow and ice half way up there. Had to be an inch of ice on the highway. Got to the cabin and had a foot of snow in the drive. Four wheel low pulled us right in. Three inches of fresh snow this morning. Absolutely beautiful. Kids let us know of freezing rain at home so we took our time getting on the road.

Was taking a break yesterday when this little one came in for a bait of corn. His sister, momma and Grandma came in later. Supposed to be 52 tomorrow.

Flannel shirt weather here. But Mary and I have been out replacing firewood we burned in January.  We know it's not over. We let the fire burn out and cleaned the flue and stove. Ready again.
