Rye Miles #13621 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I just bought a new smart TV, it’s a VIZIO and look at these channels I get free! https://www.ytechb.com/vizio-tv-channels-list/ 4 Quote
Warden Callaway Posted January 30 Posted January 30 We've got a Visio smart TV. Lots of crap that I have no interest in. Often use YouTube. Stream TUBI and kanopy from tablet. 1 Quote
Crazy Gun Barney, SASS #2428 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I have a Vizio as well. Vizio has teamed up with Pluto and there are a whole lot of channels available. A good supply of western channels. MST3K channel is always good, but I think by now I have seen every episode they have made. 2 Quote

Fox News is different than the Fox News on cable. It’s a local Fox from Cincinnati which is 4 hours away. They do have quite a few western channels but nothing I haven’t seen on INSP, Grit or the Outlaw channel but still it’s got plenty of options. I’ll keep cable but cut down to basic. 1 Quote
Pat Riot Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I have a Vizeo sound bar and I am very pleased with it. I was curious about their TVs. Good to hear you all like them…well, almost. When my wife and moved to WV we bought a Samsung smart TV. It’s a very nice TV. I comes with lots of channels which kind of blew me away. I didn’t realize I pretty much got basic cable without the cable. I do have to pay for WiFi, but it beats having to also pay for cable. What we watch most is Netflix and Amazon Prime. I have tuned into local news on the Samsung but I think that was 2 1/2 years ago. 1 Quote
Warden Callaway Posted January 30 Posted January 30 We have a Samsung sound bar leftover from a Samsung smart TV. I'm constantly cursing the sound. From one show or movie to the next, the sound can much higher or much lower than the next. Newer movies tend to have low talking and then explode into car chasing shootouts that are excruciatingly loud. Looks like a smart system could moderate the sound level. 1 Quote

The newer movies and shows have terrible sound quality and the actors mumble and whisper! I have no problem with the older movies and shows. 1 Quote
