Anybody casting the 45 caliber "Barnstormer" bullet?

Slippery Dick has the mold that was for sale for a spell, I believe he is currently working on that getting the mold working with his casting machines.  I emailed him about it earlier today actually.  No response yet.

Last ones I got came from Shooting Fox IIRC. bought a bunch and still have some left. At the time good price and good quality. I imagine if he still makes them they would be a good value. Been a while since I have seen his posts for shot but that was how I got ahold of him.

When I inquired with Shootin Fox at land run he mentioned he’d just sold the mold setup. IIRC I thought it was to some place/person in Australia.

Slippery bullets has the barnstormer mold. He was wanting to get it in production. Have not heard from him lately and I do not know the status.

Reached out to slippery bullets in early November and he said they haven't ran any yet. He put me on the list of those interested and said he would let me know when he has some.

Let us know what ya think. I have used 160rnfp in my pistols for years. Slippery doesn't like making them as there is too much hands on with them being so small. I'd be interested in the Barnstormers to try. I shoot with Slippery, if can make em work,he will. A great Pard to work and shoot with, as well as his 3 girls!

You will like them! A bit more care to reload as they don’t center too well but worth the extra effort. My wife uses them in her pistols and considers them “cute”!
