Rooster Ron Wayne Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 As a consumer of everything 44 I found this to be extremely interesting to myself the Pedersoli jackal 44. A 44 magnum pump rifle . I'm pretty sure it's Not going to be a tomato steak like the Taurus pump rifles was.

I already have a Pedersoli Lightning in 44-40 so what else do I really need anyway? Lol. I do love me a 44 mag though. Kinda liking the new Smith 629 Mountain Gun with NO LOCK. 😀

I do have my model 25-15 with a 6.5” barrel. For a short time I considered cutting the barrel to 4”, installing a Cylinder & Slide fixed rear sight and a Hi Viz tritium fiber optic front after Cerakoting the entire gun in a dark gray. Then I walked into my gun room, opened my safe, picked up my model 25 and thought “Naaaah…I like this one too much to change it”.
