Sold I bought this Springfield Armory GI Model Mil Spec 1911 new and it has maybe 100 rounds through it. Other than my signature Idiot Scratch it is near 100%. Comes in matching factory box with everything and two extra sets of grip panels. $550 + Shipping my FFL to yours.

That is Springfield Armory's "GI" model actually.  No longer in production by Springfield.  They wanted to make a model close to what was issued during WW2.  These are pretty neat and the price is good, too!

I bought this same gun New about 15 years ago for around the same price .

So this is a pretty good buy by today's pricing .

That can be remedied in 5 minutes. There are thousands of  GI main spring housings. That is a very fair price.

Thanks Bulldog.  Good to hear from you.  I'm trying to plan another trip east to shoot with you guys again.  Not sure which match it might be.  I'd like to make it to Prince of the Pistoleers but it's the same weekend as the Quigley long range match.  So I'll see what may work out best.  Hope you are both well and I hope we meet on the trail somewhere soon.
