As of 2200 Monday night it is snowing along the Texas / Louisiana / Mississippi gulf coasts.

 

Accumulation of up to 1 inch possible in Houston Texas and 6" possible in Orange Texas

 

New Orleans is forecasted to get up to 6 inches. 

 

Coastal Mississippi to get up to 5 inches.

Last time I was in Houston we woke up one morning to snow and ice on the roads.

Given that those along the coast don't have any snow removal equipment this is a really big deal.

Temps are forecast to be below freezing all day today and tonight.

That is a fact. Just think how bad this would have been if we weren't in global warming. They could have gotten at least 5 more inches. LOL
