Rye Miles #13621 Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 I traded a 20 yr old 66 in .45 Colt for this

DeaconKC Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 Jeff Cooper used it as the basis for the Bren Ten. Shame D&D couldn't solve their magazine problems.
Smokin Gator SASS #29736 Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 That model was my first CZ. Now I have 5. My latest is the same gun but a compact. I am really liking it. My main carry now.

Smokin Gator SASS #29736 Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 I think he's referring to magazine problems with tge Bren Ten not the CZs.
Buckshot Bear Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 Very popular down here are the CZ's, I had a CZ85 Combat with a spur hammer that I foolishly sold
watab kid Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 i had a CZ 75B that i gifted to my nephew for 3-gun , it was a fine pistol , i also had a IDF jerrico in SS that was basically a copy , my son is using it for pistol leagues
J-BAR #18287 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 I sleep soundly with my CZ2075RAMI P within easy reach. Never a failure to feed no matter what is in the magazine. If I am not carrying my S&W J Frame, I am carrying this.
DeaconKC Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 Sorry Rye, I was talking about the Bren Ten, NOT the CZ75.
Wild Eagle Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 Love my CZs and my Tanfoglios. The only thing I don't like about them is the factory grips. Get you some Cool Hand grips or the CZ aluminum grips. It makes a big difference. If you find a good holster and have a good belt the CZ 75 is pretty easy to carry too. It's what I usually reach for when I go out.

It's what I usually reach for when I go out. Those Coolhand grips are inexpensive. I've bought mine from VZ and Lok grips. Many people don't initially like the feel of a CZ with the thicker stock palm swell grips. The flatter/thinner grips completely change how the gun feels in hand. The LOK Bogies in my photo have an aggressive texture.
Dapper Dave Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 I might be partial to CZ pistols - I own the forum. Nice find, sir! If you need any work done on it I highly recommend both Cajun Gun Works and CZ Custom. Carry sidearm right now.
Widder, SASS #59054 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 Good trade, RYE. The CZ 75's are great pistols. I have the CZ 75 P-01 and the Shadow II Compact. Great guns and great shooters. ..........Widder
Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 mine's an 85 (adjustable sights) love it
Pat Riot Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 For years I wanted a CZ-75 and a Browning Hi-Power. They both felt really good in my hand, especially the CZ. I finally got a chance to put 100 rounds each through both guns a few years ago at a range that rents guns. I was so bummed when I found that I really didn’t care for either one. I guess it was better than buying them and finding out. On the CZ it was the layout out the slide release that bothered me. I have big hands but could not release the slide and maintain my grip one handed. My son-in-law said that I have been “Glockified”. He may be right about that. I still like the looks and the reliability of CZ’s though. Fantastic pistols. Oh, the Hi-Power? I still have a scar from the hammer bite. I also didn’t care for how it recoiled.
Texas Maverick Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 I bought the CZ 75 P01 and had the slide milled so it takes a RDR. It is my main daily carry gun. It is very accurate. I have since then also bought a P10S but it is mainly for the range. Congrats on your great deal. TM
