The Colt Model M - the 1903 32 and the 1908 380 - is one of the sweetest pistols around. Everybody that's ever had their hands on one loves it. There is a minor problem though.

They haven't been made since World War II. Which means magazines are few and far between, and expensive as hell.

I got a good deal on a couple of 1908s a few years back. Bought both guns but there was only one magazine between them. Ah well.

About 10 years ago Colt started selling them again. They weren't making them. A company called US Armament was making them. But Colt was selling them.

And the really good part about them bringing the gun back, was they were making magazines for it. $55 each, but they were available.

A few months ago I got to thinking about picking up a couple more magazines for my 32. So I go to US Armament to see if they still have them. Yes they do. And they're $40 now instead of 55.

And even better, they're making them in both 32 and in 380. When the re-release of the gun came out, they were only 32s. So I figured all they had was magazines in 32. But they got both. And I ordered both.

$40 a magazine is a little steep, but it's cheaper than what HK charges for theirs.

And if you would like to have a brand new Model M pocket pistol, they are still making them. 32 and 380.

I believe they're about $1,800, but they are available.

Just thought there would probably be people here that would like to know about the magazine availability.

Triple K has made repro magazines for many years, including these and generally work well. If not, they are quick to replace them.

Good call.  I have used a few of their mags for several guns, including a Colt 1908 .25 and a Colt 1902 in .32.  They even had them for my Remington M 51 .32.
