Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 (edited) We.ve been having trouble with them (Small Pistol) in cool/cold weather, i.e. below 50 F or 10C No experience with any other of their products. Squibs in both pistol and rifle. Factory springs, unaltered. Unburned CFE Pistol as well as Titegroup powders found in the guns when putting them away to take home to clear squibs in them. Charges used were mid way between Min/Max in the LEE manual. CCI and Winchester primers worked fine with the same powders and charges, from the same bottles. Pards with a stock of the primers are now only using them in summer/warm weather, for practice. Edited January 24 by Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 2 Quote

Given it is a SASS gun that may well work especially now that primers are becoming available. I like all my guns to eat anything they are fed which works for me as I am not anywhere near a serious competitor. Quote

For those who don’t normally use their CAS guns for anything but CAS, other factors would most likely be more important. Good luck down the road, maybe we can shoot together sometime Regards Gateway Kid Quote
