Subdeacon Joe Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Police Departments across our republic have received reports that highly addictive substances will soon be circulating in our area. These substances go by names like "Thin Mints," "Caramel DeLites," "Peanut Butter Patties," and "Lemonades." These substances are distributed by strong, smart, fearless young women who will lure you in with their good-cause story and get you hooked. Many people start with just one box, but one turns into two, two turns into five, and the next thing you know, you're hiding your stash in your freezer. We want the community to know that we are here for you. Police will set up a dropoff location for these "Girl Scout Cookies" at the local police stations, where our officers can dispose of them safely. 1 1 8 Quote
Pat Riot Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Mmmmmm…I need Trefoils. Their new lemon iced cookies are really good. They’re called “Lemon Ups”. I need some of those too. For vanilla ice cream: take 3 or 4 and cut them up in pieces then nuke them for 10-15 seconds then scrape the bits off the plate onto your ice cream. Really tasty! 2 2 Quote

John Kloehr Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) Personally will not eat them, too many additives and I can make better. But compared to MREs? I send these "Girl Scout Cookies" to our troops. Why deny them some comfort from home? Yes, the pushers to show up in front of grocery stores around here. They have so far not yet figured out there are many more susceptible individuals at gun stores and ranges. Imagine if our troops had huge shipments of the "cookies" for their pleasure and enjoyment. Paid for by those who frequent ranges. Edited January 13 by John Kloehr Quote
Rip Snorter Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Just wait for the T Scouts, no I guess you need not wait. Quote
watab kid Posted January 13 Posted January 13 used to get hit up on these at the office every year and yes i bought in excess , these days i seldom get approached so ive lost my craving - thin mints were my downfall , ive also started looking at all the old organizations i traditionally supported as to what they were doing politically , im not inclined to support those that work against my best interest and scouting has taken a hard left in recent years that i dont like , my money - my choice , return to traditional values ill contribute to support 1 Quote
