Up here in CT we are also responsible for making sure that the fire department has access to the fire hydrants, so those need to be shoveled out. And a corner lot really sucks, usually more sidewalk to remove snow from. 1 Quote

And a corner lot really sucks, usually more sidewalk to remove snow from. yes , i hear tat , glad i dont have a corner lot nor any city sidewalk [yet] we shall see after the street project that starts this spring , right now we have a double wide drive about 199 feet long and about 50 feet of walks and steps i can blow out the drive but have to shovel walks , oh and then there is the 12'x16' deck/bridge to the main entry door , takes me a couple hours with less than 6" , longer if more this house was in the township when i bought it , the first street project was right after we bought [got annexed] the neighborhood rejected the wals and curbs as well as the widened road - we didnt want the traffic , this time we may get it anyway , just what i needed was a property tax increase , we have had one the last few years every year for schools , and there is another in the works for next year right now , they may tax me into moving , Quote
