I have a pair of the Cimarron 1851 Navy Richards-Mason conversions in 38 spcl with 7.5 inch barrels.  Love the pistols, very fun to shoot and want give a go of the "Frontier Cartridge Gunfighter" category this year.  The question is: does anyone make low profile hammers for these pistols?

No one makes low profile hammers for open tops.  Best you can do is find a smith that knows how to heat and bend or cut and weld your existing hammers.

Choctaw did my 1860s last summer. Excellent job and quick turnaround.

He did mine too. An almost unbelievable price and back to me in about a week. You can PM him and he'll send instructions.
