I have a 6” Green River skinner knife I need a western style sheath for. Checked the mountain man shops with no luck under $100.00 so seeing if any of our leather workers can build one for me. Thanks, DC

Check Anza Knives.  If you can find a knife that they make that is similar to yours, they sell the sheaths at very reasonable prices.  I got the sheath for my screw knife from them.

This is not a common blade shape so you may have trouble finding a "stock" sheath that will fit. You might want to check Etsy; there are a number of sheath makers on this site.

 

Your best option would be to have a local leather maker make you one.

Are you looking for a fold-over like the one pictured above, or something with a belt loop that will fit over a cartridge belt like a standard sheath.?

A sheath to wear over my belt is preferred. DC

seems these irregular shaped blades need a bit of an irregular shaped sheath , id have it custom made by someone local you trust so they can have the blade tpo fit it to , i need to do that with a small pistol i need a holster for ,
