Huh!  Amazon has 'em!  :o

Just do a search for "Firecracker Cannon" and bunches of 'em pop up - some as low as twenty bucks!

We used to make those when I was a kid.  Didn't look as nice as this one (made of pipe and 2" x  4" scraps) but it worked the same.  We sometimes got a roll of fuse (State Hardware, penny a foot) and cut them to different lengths so they'd go off of at different times.

Set fire to a vacant lot once and ended up learning a dozen lessons from it.

Part of the training to be an ordnance officer?

Please pardon that distant evil cackle ...

I'm dry-washing my hands and twirling my mustache like Dishonest John, thinking of how much trouble I could have gotten into as a child, with this dastardly device ...

... heh, heh, heh ...

We made em with pipe and "hammer head" fire crackers (like an M80 with the fuse on the side). Dropped a large marble down behind it! Would go thru a 6" birch!

I never thought of it, but yeah.  It at least lit the fuse.  (Notice that clever way I snuck that cannon ignition reference in there?  That's Ordnance talk.  :P

Years ago, one of our former tool makers gave me a miniature cannon he made.  He made it out brass, has the caisson/carriage under it, a fuse hole and uses 44 caliber round balls.  Only fired it once.  I might try a firecracker in it now.  Sounds like fun.

Apparently it is legal to ship them to the PRoK

Probably cause cancer though...if you eat one...make that 1,431 of them...in one day.

The only issue with crackers is getting all the paper out of the barrel. ;)

Have no fears.  I will finagle something.

Try a small muzzleloader patch remover

I made something similar, but much cruder, when I was a kid.  I tried the firecracker shooting a firecracker thing many times.  It would shoot out the projectile firecracker all right, but it never lit the fuse.  I'm skeptical of the video.

The downside is... just like with anything else that shoots, getting ammunition for this in california would be problematic.  Actually, more difficult than anything else south of .50 BMG.  :(

'Cept, mebbe for San Francisco's Chinatown just before Chinese New Year.  Which is coming up...!
