Rye Miles #13621 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I usually buy lactose free milk which you can’t taste any difference. I tried Almond milk , had one glass and threw it out, Horrble!
Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 My wife uses almond milk exclusively. I tried it. Gag. She also drinks diet sodas. Yuck. At least she detest liver and onions as thoroughly as I!

We use it, along with oat milk, and cashew milk for cooking and on cereal. Also in coffee. Not for drinking straight, although it makes a pretty good chocolate milk. One of them doesn't work for instant pudding - it doesn't set up, but I can't remember which one.

Have you tried Lactaid milk or Fairlife lactose free. The chocolate milk is great and so is the white, you can't tell a bit of difference they just remove the lactose! I'll never buy that almond milk again which should be called "Almond juice" because it's not milk!
Warden Callaway Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Ironic, foods that's been in man's diet for millions of years now are bad for you. But all the artificial and processed foods or healthy.

Probably brought back to Europe from the Holy Land by crusaders.

It goes on cereal, in gravy, in baked goods. For the last two years we've used mostly 1% shelf stable boxed milk or powdered milk from the food bank. A quart of may last 2 weeks.

Lactose free milk comes in whole, 2% and 1% and it lasts about a month or more. I use it for cereals and instant potatoes and some baking and sometimes a nice cup of hot chocolate or chocolate milk.

Sixgun Seamus Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Nope! Doesn't fit under any of the three definitions. Ain't never seen no female almond.

Rye Miles #13621 Posted January 7 Author Posted January 7 Coconut milk or juice isn’t too bad but I’ll stick with the lactose free regular milk because of my intolerant stomach to dairy! I even buy lactose free ice cream!
