I shot a match with the Escondido Bandidos yesterday and the last 2 stages the sun behind the targets really made them hard to see for me so I accumulated a few misses. My wife wanted to watch a movie last night so we watched Nebraska with Bruce Dern. During the night I had this dream that our posse was made up of all the old people from the Nebraska movie. I guess it had something to do with all of the older people on our posse and in the movie. JW Bass one of our shooters was the Bruce Dern character. Double Diamond, our match director was the brother who was the TV news anchor. Pretty weird how the movie and the match tied in.

I have some incredible dreams sometimes. Many make no sense. Some do. Often I am with a group of people I don’t know, but we are working on projects like moving slabs of concrete or building houses out of weird stuff like plastic and rolls of textiles.
Last night I was helping kids build Hot Wheels tracks using plastic tubes and tripods. One little girl said “I know why your ears are ringing so badly. Your blood pressure is up!” And I woke up. Sure enough my BP was high. 173/99. Very strange considering it’s always around 130/80. It’s much better now, but my ears are still ringing like crazy. Have been for 3 days.

That's nothin'. I've been on missions with SG1. When I was a child, I rode with Roy Rogers.

I thought I recognized you!

Well, I hope you at least got a hat out of the deal!

Probably the weirdest part of the whole dream was that after I got up at 1:30 or so to use the restroom, I went back to sleep and the dream picked up where it left off. When I dreamt  the CAS part of the dream the movie people would be the CAS shooters and when I dreamt the movie part my shooting pards were playing the part of the movie characters.

Only on a couple of occasions have I been able to come back to a dream.

I’ve had reoccurring dreams of me at a cowboy shoot and I always forget something! 😂

Light PSTD, no different than the dream of the college class where you come to the final never having attended, or the presentation at a meeting when your notes vanish, or, or, I think darn near everyone has them differing only in life experience.  I do believe, except for the worst nightmares, you can direct dreams.  After all, it is your brain at work - reach for a sword, and it will generally be there!
