Anyone else sand off those annoying finger groove thingies? Or is it just me, my paws are too big for them lil buggers!

I carried a department issued Glock 23 for 17 years and hated those grooves.

In the years I was issues a 22/27, then a 21/30 all had crap finger grooves, department guns, they would have frowned on me putting them on a belt sander...they don't make my 357sig in gen 5, and I don't think they are gonna

Once I handled a Gen 5 I got rid of everything else. Partially for the finger grooves and partially for the other upgrades.

Try out the new Ruger/Magpul RXM, it's a 21st Century Glock 19. Very impressive.

I've never been a fan of ruger semiauto,  I don't think they got one right since the P89.great, but brick heavy gun.

I sanded  and sanded and it took a wile to get it to fit my hand correctly.

Carried a G20 for 20+ years on duty, I own a G21 and G30 never had an issue with the grooves.

 

Heres some REAL BIG paws for ya!

I could have written that.  I agree 100%.  I also carry a 1947 era Colt Dick Special.  I added a Tyler T Grip to make it fit, nothing else is non-stock.

 

JFWIW, I don't own any plastic guns either.
