Not bad for NE OHIO 😎 57 days till spring ⚾️😎🤠 Compared to you, we were sitting at a balmy +3 degrees here in central Maryland. If the weather critters can be believed, we will finally break freezing on Saturday for about an hour. Starting Sunday, we will warm up considerably with highs in the mid 40s, possibly even hitting 50 on Wednesday before the temps start falling again. When I was younger, I used to love the cold and snow. Spent a lot of time hauling Doctors and Nurses back and forth to the hospitals and even took a few patients home, one time I even hauled home a new mother and her week old baby. They used to setup a hotline to call into and they would assign you a pickup location and names, and once there, they would assign you folks to haul and where to haul them. When you finished, you would just call back in and they would tell you if you were still needed, and if so, where to report. Of course, that was back in the days when doing that kind of volunteer work was permitted. Now days, they would never allow a "Stranger" in a 4-WD truck volunteer to haul other folks around during an emergency. They'd just call Uber... 1 Quote
