And a dead offender is never a repeat offender.

Why were there two deputies? Florida deputies run one to a car.

And who was taking the video?

Unless there were two sheriff's cars and the video was being taken by the other car's dash camera.

And if that's so, why were there two cop cars at a "routine traffic stop"?

I'm glad the guy's dead. He deserves to be. But that just leaves unanswered questions.

Alps, it 'pears you may have answered your own queries... second responding deputy's car stopped to provide "camera coverage."  It would seem to be a good practice. if there was a second deputy.  :)

I saw this back when the press conference first published.

I think every officer in the country would love to work for that chief.

A Sheriff making a statement like that stops the media feeding frenzy in it's tracks.  Those Florida sheriff's have it down to a fine art.

I've said this before, we love our Sheriff Ivey!!!  (He was just re-elected in a land-slide victory........again!!!)

I remember trying to come home while that was in progress.  I-95, which was less than a quarter mile from the scene, was closed for a period because of the incident.

He has a VERY loyal following here.  Uno and I marched in an anti-covid march with him and some of his deputies.  You could see the respect and admiration his officers have for him.

From "The American Thinker"

Evil is as evil does.

Evil. Normal Americans know it exists and walks among them. Like Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart, they know it when they see it. They know Satan is evil’s father and acts that violate God’s law, and many that violate man’s law, are clearly evil.

It’s my opinion this should happen more often and with malice. If you disagree - Save it!

It’s too bad the officers were injured. Thankfully they aren’t dead.
