Matthew Duncan Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 One good thing about old age is that it doesn’t last long.
Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 Went home for Christmas, saw family, ate much good food, talked much good talk. Gave dear old Dad a ride back to his place. He invited me to stay and I couldn't, I apologized and admitted I don't see as well as I used to after dark. He laughed and said "Welcome to old age!" ... sadly ... I now resemble that remark ... snif ... (Pardon me, I need to console my bruised feelings. I'm going to put on that T-shirt that says THE OLDER I GET, THE BETTER I WAS!) 😁😁😁
Pat Riot Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 My body is older than my age in regards to infrastructure, but my mind is still 25 years old…except for the absentminded part… When I was 18 or 19 years I read this quote by Hunter S. Thompson. In my 20’s I decided to live it. Now in my 60’s I can say that so far I have and I intend to continue. Today I am taking my bike out for a ride after I work out and have breakfast. I think I will pull some G’s on some fantastic motorcycle road around here. I’ll know which road when I find it. If you shook your head while reading any of my post try and go out and live a little. Don’t dwell on things you can’t control. Have fun with those you can.

Matthew Duncan Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 You know you’re getting old when your children start giving you advise AND they are right.
