Marshal TKD, Sass # 36984L Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 (edited) Howdy all. The 2025 Alabama State Championship is on the books for May 1st through the 3rd at the Cavern Cove Competitive Shooting range. The stages are designed by Deadlee Shooter, they will be big, close and fast. We will have Mollys Buckles for the category winners. Thursday May 1st will be our side match day. Side matches scheduled as of right now are Wild Bunch, Black Powder, Warm up match and long range. The Long Range side match will be shot on targets 75, 100, 125, 150, 165, 175 and 200 yards. Most likely will be a pot luck dinner on the range. Friday May 2nd we will shoot 5 stages and then have the side match awards and a meal under the pavilion on the range. Saturday May 3rd we will shoot the remaking 5 stages and then that evening have the main match awards and dinner under the pavilion on the range. Sunday May 4th we will have a charity shoot to benefit Saint Jude’s. This is a charity shoot I set up a few years back, the shooting fee is donations only, the Cowboy shooters have been very generous in their donations. Thank you. We have camping on the available. Most of the sites available are 30 amp with water. There is a sewer dump on-site. The application and additional information is available at https://www.northalabamaregulators.com Update 3/5/2025 We are adding a Cowboy Rimfire Side Match. This will be held on Friday Afternoon. More details to follow. We will see you at the shoot. Edited March 5 by Marshal TKD, Sass # 36984L 4 Quote

Tn Tombstone Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 (edited) Seeing as this is the weekend after KY State up at Pondarosa Pines we will plan to stay an extra day or two at Joes then head down to Alabama. This is now two weeks after KY State, dont plan on staying that long with Copperhead TKD save my camping spot. Deadlee how about some round count stages so us gifted shooters (GF) can cornfuse the spotters. Spring is just around the corner. Edited February 19 by Tn Tombstone 3 3 Quote

Does that equal who is going to have a train wreck? 1 Quote

I decided to post it here rather than solely rely on email to inform folks. Now ya just gotta figure your Maximum Pointblank Range. https://shooterscalculator.com/point-blank-range.php Quote
LawMan Mark, SASS #57095L Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Shootout is coming together! Theme is Guns of the Old West! Hope to see y'all there! (I'm not planning on recreating my swan dive from Ambush, so if you missed it, too bad!). 1 Quote

Maybe some of those Amazon packing peanuts. Lots of them. 3 Quote

Will start at 9 am on Sunday morning. Round count would be 50 rifle, 50 pistol and 25 shotgun. Thanks for asking. 100% of the shooters fees and donations will go to St. Jude's. Minimum fee is $20, and you can give what you want past that. 1 Quote
