Thanks for the heads up, I ordered 1000 once fired .38 Special so I’ll see how it is. Randy Quote
Tall John Posted December 24, 2024 Author Posted December 24, 2024 I was concerned on my first order ‘cause it was so dirty but it cleaned up in 30 minutes using the FA brass cleaning pods in my Rebel 17. Quote

I also use the FA pods in my FA rotary tumbler, I’ve always run 2 hours, it’s what I tried first and it worked so I’ve never tried anything else. Brass looks like new when it comes out. Randy Quote
Tall John Posted December 24, 2024 Author Posted December 24, 2024 I have an FA lite tumbler and have to run it for two hours. I custom built a ball mill using a Rebel 17 tumbler jar. It is a high speed tumbler so it doesn't take as long. I've tried many of the other cleaners (Dawn, Lemi shine, Dishwasher magic, armorall wash & wax) but have found that the FA pods are superiorespecially for large batches. IMG_2722.mov 1 Quote

Randy Thanks John, I got 1000 once fired .38 specials from Mojo Precision and they were as expected for range brass. They were dirty but I only found 1 split case, 2 .40 cal. and 1, 9mm so I’m happy. I just put them in the tumbler so I’ll try to post a picture in later. Randy Quote
Randy Saint Eagle, SASS # 64903 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 There’s a lot of shadows in the pictures taken when I was spreading it out in the sunshine. It’s a balmy 38 degrees here. But it cleaned up really well. 🤠 2 Quote
Go West Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I bought 2K pieces of once fired brass from Graf years ago. I've since bought buckets of brass from lost brass matches. I reload until it splits. Nickel brass has been discarded due to failures in the rifle. 1 Quote
Long Fingers, SASS#56813 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Ordered a few thousand 9mm and 45 acp 2 weeks ago from Mojo. Just got a shipping notice yesterday, was beginning to wonder if it was a scam site. Prices are good, waiting to see if it shows up. LF Quote

I thought the shipping time was very reasonable especially so close to Christmas. Randy Quote

Maybe they left on holiday vacation right after they shipped yours. Lol 1 Quote
Smokin Gator SASS #29736 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Prices really vary from place to place. Some have a lot of options and prices. Plain dirty range brass, polished only, roll sized and fully processed ready to load. Specific headstand only brass. But even plain range brass prices vary greatly. 1 Quote
