My daughter’s neighbor put this up and when it’s lit up at night  it looks like a big booger, according to her.

well that is a rather large one and it appears to be [could be optical illusion] to those overhead lines , i should think that might be a hazard issue , hate to see the booger electrocuted or worse electrocute some kid

My first thought too, the ATT cable is actually at about its eye level and the power line is about 2 feet higher than the tip of the hat about 15 feet away.

Something for my sister who displayed nothing at her house....Only one on the street without a display on her yard or house...It would be as good and as the pet rock in sent her years ago....While teaching in Papua New Guinea....Not easy to explain to locals

yup , we all got em , we all suffer em and we all ignore em , but what would we complain of if they were gone ? 

 

my family is predominately conservative save one nephew and family that i take in stride , my wifes family is the same save one BIL that seems to keep his views in check when at family events -0-- so --- we mostly dont talk politics at family events , it all goes smooth and no one gets upset , everyone goes home smiling , i do believe that would happen even if anything came up in the course of the event , 

 

im not going to put a grinch in my yard but then i dont have anything outside except the wreaths on the garage and lights on the house and garage - we might add one more lighted evergreen thats out in front of the garage - i ran the power , waiting on the wife to add the lights , 

 

i will add that the grinch added to our christmas when the kids were younger and it first appeared , ive never been offended bu this add to the season , nor do i have an issue with die hard , its become a christmas tradition like the leg lamp , the home alone , the griswalls , and the miracle on 34th street , we watch the halmarks that exclude the diversity crap , ,
