Dantankerous Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Yup. It's a Christmas movie. I love it! 😀
Blackwater 53393 Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Alan Rickman could die with the best of ‘em!! We mustn’t forget Elliot Marston in Quigley!! He was very good at being very bad!!

That look is genuine.

An accomplished Theater actor, it was his first Hollywood Movie and made him an instant success. Bruce Willis was not the first choice for John McClain, Several other major actors turned it down before it was finally offered to Willis. It was also his first feature movie and like Alan Rickman it launched their movie careers.

That look is genuine. That just seems like a dangerous way to do things. Instead of dropping me on the count of three, and relying on my acting ability to portray shock and fear, they drop me on the count of one. Okay. Print? It's in the can? Good. Then I go over and I beat the living hell out of the director. I've heard about child actors back in the 30s. When they would need them to cry on camera, but they weren't sure that they could do it. So they would tell the kid that his dog got run over, and while he's crying his little heart out from his pet being killed they roll the camera. And if I was the little kid's father, when I found out about that I would go beat the living hell out of the director. It just seems like a dangerous way to get the shot you need. Lot of hospital time.
