Pay no attention to them. They’re just not grill savvy so they lash out.

Mesquits tap root only grows about 50 feet. As a result a stand of mesquite is also an indicator of accessible water. A dug or driven well is possible there.

 

Just watch out for the thorns full of creosote and really sting
