Texas Joker Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Mesquits tap root only grows about 50 feet. As a result a stand of mesquite is also an indicator of accessible water. A dug or driven well is possible there. Just watch out for the thorns full of creosote and really sting
