I have a 5 gallon can of gasoline in my backseat. The lid is not on as securely as it should be.

My passenger sticks a cigarette in his mouth and flicks his Bic. The car blows up, because his lighter ignited the gasoline fumes.

But suppose instead of smoking a cigarette he was vaping.

Would the vaping ignite the gasoline fumes?

What idiot put a 5 gallon can of gasoline in their back seat?

The kind that didn't read the warnings on the gas can?

Perhaps the world would be a better place if warnings were removed from various items. The warnings take away from the Fung Shui of ladders, fuel cans, power tools, etc…

I don't see why. I quit smoking some 40 years ago. I have absolutely no experience whatsoever with vaping. That's why I asked. Smoking with that leaking can of gasoline would be asking for a boom. Would vaping do it also? Seems like a simple, logical question.

The internal temp of the heating coil could reach the ignition temperature of Gasoline. (536 F) All depends on how the user adjusts the setting of the pen.

However there are a lot of other flammable liquids that are well below the operating temperature of the heating coil in a vape pen.

There are three basic types of automobiles, right?

You have your car, which has a separate compartment called the trunk. Put the can of gas in the trunk.

You have your pickup truck, which has a separate compartment called the bed. Put the can of gas in the bed.

But then you have your sport utility vehicle, which does not have a separate compartment. If you're going to carry a can of gasoline and a sport utility vehicle, it is in the passenger compartment.

I thought you just forgot it.:D

If you had put it in upper case Otto might have interpreted it as an abbreviation for United States.

I noticed, in my proofread, that when I wrote

I WONDER WHY HE DID THAT, he changed that to read

I WONDER WHY I DID THAT

But I caught it before I submitted it. Take THAT otto. Neener neener neener!

He still tried to get me. He changed NEENER to NEVER

But I caught it too.

If I say Auto, that's what happens. So if I type it, otto,
that works. So far he has not changed my lower case o to an uppercase O. So far.

What Barleycorn said! Otherwise…

It’s really simple! Don’t smoke or vape or play with fire when in proximity of flammable materials!

And don’t haul gas in and SUV!!

And that third degree Black Belt has been elevated with gold tips!!
