Reckon it’s a live one.  Probably a bit of a pet.

 

Don’l look like is been shot and it certainly ain’t been dressed…

 Don't think so.  Blood on the nose and tongue is drawn out.

 

A whitetail doe with antlers, although rare, isn't that rare.  However, most of the time they never shed their velvet and the size of the rack on this one is very rare.  Most antlered does are cow-horned.

In most states the tags say Antlered vs simply buck. By the same token the permits say Anterless vice Doe.

Ours in Ontario specify "Antlered" as well, but I wanted to avoid confusion in case any of your states word it differently.
