...... I currently suffer from a severe lack of fiscal strength and/or credit cards ....... <blush>

I "suffer" from I don't need anything bad enough to put up with getting up early and fight the crowds to get it.

We did venture out this morning for one item that was only on sale today. Bought it and came right back home.

I ordered a headlight bucket for my grandson’s little pickup that we’re fixing up for him.

Tomorrow, I will go pick up some ammo I had made for my son’s birthday.

That’ll probably be the only time I get out of the house all weekend!!

Nope.   Did it a few times 25 year ago or so. One year we hit Walmart when they opened at 0400, then  Target for the 0600 opening.  It was interesting,  at Walmart it was an impatient mob packed around the door.  At Target it was a patient and orderly line.  The manager came out about 0545, said they might be  a few minutes late opening (ended up only about 3 minutes), and then had people bring out hot cider and cookies.

At both stores we were in and out in 15 minutes.   We knew what we wanted,  roughly were it was on the store, split up,  and met back at the car.   One thing that helped was that none of the things on the list were the hot "must buy or your life will end miserably" overhyped items.

Oh..about 10 years ago I had to go out for something from the grocery store.  Don't remember exactly what,  just that it was some staple pantry items I thought we had plenty of but forgot I had opened the last of the day before.

I saw those for sale today on one of the many sites I visited. Are they good primers?

So that leaves $138 for more shopping. Find some 50% off sales and you can still double it.

I bought White River large rifle primers when we had a shortage here, I would buy them again. The choice I had was White River (USA), and two other brands (not USA).

Not used in SASS guns.

Filled up my gas tank and got a half gallon of milk.....and egg nog is back, so I bought two quart of Danzeisen's Original. (The only bottled nog I've found that acceptable, or even tolerable.  $6.00 a quart and if you take the glass bottles back they refund a a couple of bucks each.)

Spent the rest of the day watching old movies and cooking small batches of stuff.

I loaded up 200 sp lite 38spl’s earlier this year and had 100% ignition from my Mirakou 1873 race gun and my two Bisley’s with light springs.  My Uberti 1873 Comachero  didn’t like them but it doesn't have an extended firing pin yet.  I’m planning to use them with some 9MM reloads I’m planning to do this winter.

I get Tractor Supply rewards from a credit card. They build up, then age out. Use it or lose it.

Remembered them today, went over and got some better gloves for helping tear down stages, shop towels for the garage, and a couple more clamps for wood working.

Still have a bunch of rewards left, but will be 6 months before they start aging out again. Last year I went there and got a BB gun. That visit was how I first learned i collected rewards and had a bunch of them. Walked out with it essentially "for free."

Thanks very much. I will definitely keep these in mind.

I don't get Black Friday off anymore, not a big deal, there is no way I would go anywhere near a shopping store of any kind.

Did 90% of the Holiday shopping for mother in about 20 minutes on Amazon and I'll probably be finished with her tomorrow when I buy a box or two of chocolate after shooting skeet tomorrow.
