Reliable but take a heavier hammer spring to set them off. Similar to CCI primers.

Midsouth Shooters’ Supply has Unix small pistol primers for $299.00 for 5000 and Magtec large pistol primers for $65.99 a 1000.

I just ordered 5k small pistol from capital cartridge $249.99, free hazmat and $9 shipping.   American reloading has large pistol for $289 with free shipping and hazmat.   As stated above they seem to be about cci hardness level, my rifle won't set them off without changing the spring pressure so I use them for practice loads in my pistols.  Every once in a while when loading you will get one that seats hard.

They are excellent primers. Seem to be between Federal and Winchester on the hardness scale.

Their bullets are mostly copper plated and FMJ. They have no Hard Cast in stock right now. Their plated and FMJ are very good bullets.

We had ignition problems with the two small pistol Primer batches Palomino Pal had, using them in cold weather.

PP just reminded me he had squibs with Titegroup and CFE Pistol.

Other brands of primers had no issues in the same weather, same day.
