Blackwater 53393 Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 Don’t reply! Don’t acknowledge! Check your bank/banks balances and if there’s no indication of an attempt to access your funds, block the sender and delete the message!
Subdeacon Joe Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 This morning I received this text Repoted and blocked.
John Kloehr Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 Don't even click on the pdf file link. It may be malware. Couple other clues are the from email address having nothing to do with the "sender" or the links in the signature. Also "operation" manager, not "operations." Also, the reagan.com email service is surrounded by controversy. Separate from this, it is not at all a vetted email service and certainly not associated with any company which would send an invoice. Nor would anyone with a business use it to send an invoice.
Duffield, SASS #23454 Posted November 26, 2024 Author Posted November 26, 2024 Thank You Gentlemen. The act that I have never done business with this person plus the strange email address caught my attention right away. I hope this alerts others to this type of scam.
