Cool Hand Luke is a great movie.  I remember watching it in high school and agreeing.

This reel showed up on FB today.  Instantly recognized the lines but not the voices.  Turns out disney copied it in The Sandlot in 1993.  Have you seen the line copied in any other movies?

I've watched both movies - Luke and Sandlot - numerous times. But until your comment I didn't realize that the kids talking about the lifeguard at the pool was quoting George Kennedy and Paul Newman  talking about Lucille washing the car.

Yes, the carwash scene.  A soccer player had adapted it with voice over.  It was boys voices, not mens.  The famous "What we have here is a failure to communicate" has been copied repeatedly.  This is the first time I remember the carwash scene being copied.
