Those things work great!

The one on our clubhouse stove moves 360 cu, feet a minute and quickly eliminates cold spots near the floor and in the corners.

We live in an adobe house with 18” thick walls, 2-6” adobe layers with a 6” reenforced concrete core. Contrary to popular belief they are not warmer in the winter. The adobe/concrete construction sucks up the cold and holds it in. The woodstove keeps it pretty livable. We go through about 4 cords of wood a winter. We have forced air heating that uses propane and at $6.00 plus per gallon delivered it gets pretty pricey heating this house that way, we bought our own tank about 5 years ago, had it filled and still have about 70% left because we don’t use it. We live on 10 acres with lots of oaks, sycamores and eucalyptus and when needed we’ll fell a tree and salvage the firewood. One of our big oaks succumbed to boring beetle infestation about 3 years ago and the wood from that one tree pretty much took care of last years firewood needs.

What kind of temperatures do you get in winter Yul?

Not nearly as cold as yours. It will frost 4 or 5 times a winter but usually low 40’s and high 30’s at night. This house is a big cold sink, really sucks it up. The only insulation is in the ceiling.

Could you try putting PINK Styrofoam rigid insulation sheets or foam insulation, on the inside walls and covering them with Gyproc?
