Prices dropped Beretta 1873 Renegade's 38/357 and CAS Gear For Sale

Recommended Posts

I've dropped the prices one more time and I'm kind of shocked that the 73s haven't sold. The Berretta Renegade's are IOM the nicest rifles used in SASS. I was advised today that some may not know that these are Uberti rifles. They were made when Beretta bought them, but are a more top shelf rifle.

I will be adding clothes, knives, and accessories later this weekend.

I have two 20" 1873 Beretta Renegades 38/357 that were tuned up by Roughneck Rod. The hammers and levers have been jeweled. The top one has a large white from bead and the other a smaller brass bead. They are both in very good condition. Top one has about 4000 rounds through it and the other maybe 1000. They will come with the lever wraps shown in the pics but not the butt covers as those are custom with alias badges inlaid into them. I am asking $1600 each shipped to your FFL in a Plano Gun Box.

PRICE reduced to $1480 shipped

Rifle 2

Mernickle Lady's Evil Roy gun belt. This belt has been used very little. It was a back up rig for my wife. It's their "sunset" color. It was made for NMV and has 39 in the belt which equates to roughly 37" diameter on the largest hole and 27 on the smallest, but with SASS "buckles" it's a bit larger. $340 shipped to your door. SASS Buckles and badges not included.

Price reduced $275

Mernickle "Evil Roy" rig. size 42 marked on the belt. This rig has seen some use but it is still in solid "competition" condition. It has my alias stamped on the belt and was for OMV but I have holstered and used NMV, USFAs, and Taylor Smokewagon's with no issues. I do have the ammo holders, badge holder, and original buckle for this. $325 shipped to your door.

Price reduced $250

PM me for more information and more pics. First I'll take it I receive will get it.

Thanks for looking

I shot with John E many, many times over the years. I've seen these guns in action and never seen them have even a hiccup.

Sorry to see you go John E. I haven't been in a while myself. I wish you and Shyster the best of luck in the future.

BTT for a good guy and some great guns.

To all of those who are all out want to purchase from me I will make sure we verify each other is legit before funds and items are swapped. Sad day when these scammers get away with this stuff.

John E. Law, I will take the two Baikals.

In the past week I also have had a scam attempt try to hijack one of my purchases. Damn shame that we have little recourse against these scammers. A couple years ago, I was able to prosecute a couple of them and successful.

Love the picture of you with your sons.  I've been fortunate in that I've been able to shoot with my three kids for most of the last 40 years.

Now the scammer is upset with me for posting his name, email and bank info on the sass classifieds.

This shows they are lurking on the sass site or the scammer would not have known of their personal info being posted.

Alas, due diligence is required even on the sass forums, how things have changed over the years. :(

It been my great honor to know John E Law since I began CAS.

If I could move our club closer to you I would.

Best wishes to you and Shyster.

Thanks Waimea. We truly enjoyed shooting with your group. It's great group of cowfolk you have down there. Unfortunately, during my recovery, the distance was just too great to drive, then shoot, and then drive home so we tried other disciplines at our home range. When Shyster found USPSA at the club 5 minutes from my house CAS was pretty much over for us. He absolutely LOVES shooting USPSA and 3-Gun. He like determining the way he wants to shoot, not someone else, and he has very good instincts for it. Add two more guns into the mix? The smile on his face after shooting a stage is infectious.

This was his first stage in a full match. We had practiced at the house, did an intro class/shoot, and he went to a junior shooter's day prior to this, but this was his first real stage.

He's gotten a lot better and a lot faster in just the few months since this was taken and when he shoots the 2011 race gun instead if his little, very snappy, modded, P365 he's even faster. That's the reason I'm selling the cowboy guns, it's so I can buy him his own custom 2011 racegun.

With all that I already miss CAS. The people and the game were awesome, unfortunately times change, and nothing lasts forever.

Hopefully we will see you on the trail. Take care my friend.

I'm buying a couple of John E. Laws guns. It was a matter of minutes after we agreed to the transaction that I was contacted by a scammer.  That's twice in the last couple weeks that this has happened. The Bastards are everywhere. Be cautious, the less success they have the less we will see them in the future, at least that is what I hope.

He finally caught on that I was not only the actually seller and not a buyer but that I was emailing him from my sheriff's office address. I was trying to get him to call me. He did the run around and kept giving excuses why he couldn't call but kept asking for the money transfer and then he'd call.

Johnny, did you get his name?

The exact same guy tried to get in a deal that Dusty Boddams and I made four years ago. I’ve been stringing him along for two days. I also called the bank he gave and let them know.

This asshat is persistent; texted at 10:30 last night, pretending to be JEL. I blocked him. He tried calling at 6:30 this morning. Kentucky number 502-325-9223. Apparently being a scamming pile of meth head pig vomit is a round the clock job.

Well slim I'm not sorry, you will not get any apology from me. I 100% still believe you're a scammer. You used the SASS number of another member when you initially tried to "purchase" a firearm from me and you only got banned because I reported it, they found that bit of info out, and then they banned you. Good for all of us legit members. How you're back here on the SASSwire so quickly is what's truly suspicious and upsetting. Using our terminology, "not the cowboy way",  as some kind of reverse psychology where you're now playing the victim is not only is disgusting, it flat out pisses me off.

You never mention "what" club you attend or any members who could verify your identity. I wonder why?

Additionally, if you are in fact a "foreign student" studying here in the US, you initially claimed you were out of the country and wanted to use Zelle to transfer funds, a clear sign of a scam, and have the wrong address to an FFL and not a copy of the FFL license. Also, foreign students purchasing firearms is a very difficult process at both the State and federal levels, especially in Connecticut.

I again will be forwarding this post to the admin and moderators and even if your did get a legit membership I'm hoping they ban it due to your already criminal activity.

Let you explain? Explain what? Your a freaking scammer trying to scam some more. So yes, I will stay cautious, which is why I'm telling you to Piss Off! I wouldn't sell you anything!

To clarify that, first of all I could prove my membership in CT bushwhackers you could ask @ Double Tap Taylor to verify my information because he was the guy who got me into this sport, but when I register my alias was doc Stewart I believe you could find this alias on the member list . but I recently watched a movie and love the movie shanghai noon so I gave me my alias Shanghai Slim . Also I could send you the video of me shoot in Manchester sportsman's association which is where CT bushwhackers hold their matches

Second, it's hard for foreigners to get firearms permit, but I worked hard and made it happen since I am "legal alien" I am the people who have right to own a firearm, I can send you a picture of my CT long gun certificate if you want, and you could call the CT police to verify it .

Third, I am young and trust me most of our generation use zelle and Venmo, because it is more convenient, you could get the money transfered in a minute,if I haven't purchased a gun from an older gentleman at GunBroker, I don't even know what money order is. I could let my friend sent you a money order if that's what you want, I respect that.

Lastly, I sent you the address from Google map because that's what the gun store locations is it's Newington Gun Exchange, 210 Market Square, Newington, CT 06111, United States I directly past it on Google map. I only have experience purchase gun on GunBroker before When I plugged in the gun store name on GunBroker the other information puped up, I haven't had any experience on this website to purchase firearms so I didn't know what to do.

I can swear I am not a scammer !!! Please give me a chance to explain before reporting me
