Wunderground stations around me are showing 2.75" of rain to 3.5" of rain since midnight (it's 1500 here now).

Caltrans cameras show pretty decent amounts of snow at Donner, not yet at Truckee, but you can see it moving in.  Also quite a bit near Shasta.

All well your hacienda?

North of San Francisco is an absolute mess, and it will probably move south a bit.

East Tennessee has its first winter storm advisory for the year Thursday night, will probably be a mess Friday morning. Getting cold and already been windy here. Made a grocery run and filled up my 4wd truck. Not that i will go anywhere into the mess.

Don't see it on the radar for here yet, but do not doubt the forecast.

Was in the SF Bay area for a bomb cyclone with atmospheric river/pineapple express over a decade ago, Significant event.

Weather Underground stations around here (NE Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, CA) are now showing about 4.25 to about 5.1 inches since midnight.

We made jokes about the Ben Lomond house races (dark humor) after some of these type of events. Stay on high stable ground and be safe.

And the Malibu House Races.  But I do think the Marin House Races were more interesting.
