Chip Tosser SASS#27040L Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 It's been awhile since I stopped by the Saloon (ACS). Honestly, It's a bit hard. A number of old Pards and Pardetts are no longer with us. Miss those folks, and the Saloon just isn't the same without them. I noticed at the bottom of the page here it shows that there are 2011 pages of Saloon (ACS) History. I was feeling a bit nostalgic and thought i'd jump into the wayback machine. I went to page 2011.... year 1969. Wow, that looked promising. Unfortunately, on page 2010 it jumps from 1969 to year 2010. that's really sad. It appears that all the antics of the original Saloonatics are gone. lost somewhere in cyberspace. Guess I'll sit here and lift my glass to old friends... To the "Original Salooantics" Perhaps gone, but not forgotten. Keep up the good work folks. 1 Quote

Chip Tosser SASS#27040L Posted November 14, 2024 Author Posted November 14, 2024 Chip's Happy to see a few familiar faces. Alpo? how you been Amigo? Rye?Not sure when this whole thing started. 1969 was showing on those post. That was before my time on here. Not sure the internet even exisisted then. I remember reading about a group of cowboys in California, that had a "club" in an old issue of American rifleman? not sure of the mag. Anyway, pretty sure that was the beginings of SASS. No idea of original date. Flint Westwood or Black Harris could tell us for sure. They were part of the original SASS group. In fact, Flint was the first "world champion" Not sure if they frequent the Saloon (ACS) much these days. MISS SPIFFY?!?! Come give ol Chip a hug. Gosh it's been like forever! Quote

Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 My guess is that ‘1969’ is what you get if there was no date entered. If often happens with really old databases. 2 Quote
