Chief Rick Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 I'm looking for an ultrasonic cleaner. Pan size doesn't need to be larger than 10"x6"x3" and could be a little smaller, but preferably not much smaller. Looking at Amazon, something in the 3L size seems like what I'm after. This isn't something that's going to be used daily or even weekly, but I would like something that's going to last longer than the warranty. What have you used/recommend? Something from Amazon, Harbor Freight or....
Griff Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 I got one of the Harbor Freight units. I've had it about 10 years... Still works. It mostly gets used to clean the carbon off of my percussion nipples. I used to use it to clean my BP brass, but with it on heat and using Hornady "One-Shot" brass cleaner, it looked like the zinc had been leached out of the brass. Wet tumbling has cured that and gives me clean, bright brass.
