A friend of mine in the 80’s had a 1970 Alfa Romeo Spider. What a fun car that was. He let me drive it a couple of times. 
 

It looked just like this one.

Nowhere near as elegant as the 1931 that @Abilene Slim SASS 81783 posted.

Those were marvelous sports cars! As were the sedans. I got to drive one of these in the mid 70’s:

I worked on ‘em some, many years ago!  Wasn’t fun!!

They sure did, didn’t they? And then disappeared from the US market altogether. 
 

I see new Alfas around here from time to time. Other than the grill, they look generic, like every other car made here or overseas. 
 

These days, you can’t tell what brand a vehicle is until you see the logo/nameplate. Once in a blue moon I’ll see something where I say, “Huh, that’s nice looking.” It’s one of the reasons (other than cost) that I’ve no interest in replacing my 2005 Grand Cherokee. There’s very little out there that’s interesting.
