Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329
Well, it's here -- The Tusco Long Riders Annual Charity/Josey Wales shoot. Charity -- ALL the proceeds (including shoot fees) will be donated to our yearly charity -- the Midvale/Barnhill Shared Christmas Program. This program helps provide needy families located around our range with a better Christmas. The Tusco Long Rider Cowboys and Cowgirls have traditionally been very generous, with shoot fees + Donations, and we have been able to donate many hundreds of dollars over the years. In addition, we offer a Josey Wales division in every category for those who wish to give Josey Wales a try. 5 Revolvers, with each stage being 10-10-5, for a total of 150 rounds. I'll be shooting Elder Statesman Frontier Cartridge Josey Wales! While you DON"T HAVE TO SHOOT JOSEY WALES, I hope you'll give it a try -- It's lotsa fun!! Hope to see you there! --Prairie Dawg Edited October 28 by Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329
Buckaroo Bubba
Howdy All, This coming Saturday, November 2nd, is our last match of the season! It is our Charity/Josey Wales match. All the money we bring in at this match will go directly to the Midvale/Barnhill Shared Christmas Program. It helps those two towns that surround our range with their Christmas programs to help underprivileged families around the holidays. Registration will start at approximately 8:45am, mandatory safety meeting at 10am. Please fill out a release form for 2024 if you haven't been to Tusco this year, you can find it here: https://www.tuscolongriders.com/range-release (I will have them at the range to fill out as well. You only need to fill it out once a year) Sarah will have breakfast and lunch available to purchase. In the past we have done a pot luck lunch. This year, we are asking that you bring your favorite dessert to share. Sarah will have her usual breakfast and lunch available to purchase. We are planning on setting up three stages, shooting them twice each, shooting and scoring six stages. The stages will be set up for Josey Wales. They will have 5 shotgun targets. You DO NOT have to shoot Josey Wales. You may shoot a regular match. There will be Josey Wales categories for the different categories, for example, Josey Wales Duelist, Josey Wales Senior, etc. Again, this is our last match of 2024. We will not be shooting in December. Come on out for a fun day with your cowboy friends! Thank you! Bubba
