I was curious about the first US aircraft carrier. It was USS Langley CV-1 a converted collier. XXX IS A COLLIER? I asked myself. It’s a coal hauling ship, which by 1920 or so we had no need. So USS Jupiter was converted to an aircraft carrier.

)))) I suppose some net nanny software changed my whiskey tango foxtrot to XXX.

Put space between each letter and nanny won't notice!

This may contain: the cast of tv soap opera's show, which is featured in this poster

A bit, but a side note is worth sharing.

The producers thought the special effects budget was per episode... No, that was for the entire season. So the first episode was edited down to be the opening credits/intro and old western sets, static sound stage rooms,  and such were used after that.

I do give the producers credit for actually "wrapping it up" rather than leaving yet another series with no conclusion to the story. This is the main reason the series is now a cult classic.

Like what if Rockford was able to clear his name?

And then there is the matter of the "bad guys" created the problem, but also created the solution to it. In spite of the efforts of the good guys to subvert this effort.

There are “adopt a greyhound’ programs for retired racing dogs. They do not know how to climb stairs.

I don't know why, but whenever I take Custer to the dog park and there are greyhounds present, they always come over to me for attention.

My daughter participated in an adoption program where she was a foster parent until an adoption was arranged.
