Minus a few percent changing to up by 50% (rounded numbers) is a big adjustment.

 

I've tried to vet this, and not finding it easy; there are also some questions related to changes in reporting resulting in more reporting.

 

I can say my sense from local reporting is that crime in east Tennessee is up, the economy is tougher, and more folks are desperate.

 

I did look at some sources, the far left is mostly sticking to the earlier number, the far right is reporting the adjustments. The problem for me is neither is actually reporting where to find the actual reports! For anyone that does the research, presenting conclusions without verifiable facts will not convince anyone of anything.

They were supposed to keep the real numbers hush hush until after the Election, then issue a correction.

Same goes with the Jobs numbers.

That reminds me, next Fed meeting is Nov 6 and 7, so prime rate is in play. Supposed to be independent of who wins the day before as the Fed is not partisan.
