I'm sure I missed where this is posted, but I noticed the individual membership is $80 and the family is only $65. How does that work - if I do family does that give my wife and son membership as full SASS members as well? I am looking to pull the trigger on SASS membership this week, wanna do it right.

Thank you for your replies!

One year individual membership is $80.

Additional family member is $65 each if I remember correctly.

Call SASS HQ and they'll be more than happy to help register you.

The first year is more because you receive your badge, etc.  Unfortunately, I don't recall the exact amounts of the first year's membership as compared to renewals after that.  As Chief Rick advised, call the office.  They will explain it all to you.
Welcome to the SASS family.

Welcome to the SASS family.

It's $80/year now...best of my knowledge.

The money isn't a problem, I was just wanting to make sure I had it right, thanks everyone!

Worth asking. If individual was 80 and family was only 65, I would have renewed as a family. :D

So they raised it $15??? Wow that’s a hefty increase from $65 🙄

I just received my renewal notice. It is $69.00 for a years renewal.

If nothing else, I am supporting a fine pro firearms organization. Now to sign up for that November match!

I told my wife this is my mid-life crisis, and it's a LOT cheaper than a new Corvette! 😄

Maybe not.  Many of us travel to matches in RVs or pulling travel trailers.  While many matches have nearby motels, some quality matches lack nearby lodging options.  Thus, we bring our own.

Well. I still work full time, 4.5 years until retirement,  so not likely to travel TOO far. 🤔

Hmm, looking to retire in Texas, any SASS clubs near Kilgore?

My badge is out for delivery. First badge I paid for. I will wear it with pride...even when I get smoked repeatedly on the range. 😄

You don’t have to be a first place shooter to have the respect of your fellow shooters.  Help your posse with chores, be ready to shoot and above all be safe and you will be valued.

Absolutely, sir. I will be heading up to help set up the Friday before the next match as well.

I just renewed last month and it was $65. I don’t believe it’s been raised beyond the first year due to badge etc.

Hugs! Welcome to the MOST fun EVER!
