Pat Riot
Good looking truck. Congratulations. I love white trucks. They look good and stay cooler in the sun and, believe it or not, they hide dirt better than red and dark colored trucks. Dings and dent don’t stand out either. 1

Widder, SASS #59054
My Tacoma is a sharp looking truck but I gotta admit that the style of Chevy you got is as sharp as nails. And trucks are always one of the best threads for the Saloon. Congratulations on a beauty. ..........Widder 1
bgavin
You might consider a reputable shop to check the fluids and setup supposedly done by the factory. For example, Toyota Tacoma trucks are well known to ship with the transmission fluid a half quart or worse low. Ditto for differentials and transfer cases. The Tacoma can only be checked from underneath, then only between 100 and 108 degrees F. The stealerships employ the low cost / low skill techs for this menial work, and it doesn't get done correctly. I figure it is a 30 minute procedure when done properly. These are the same rack monkeys that torque an 18 ft-lb oil filter canister down to Godzilla level torque. Mine required a huge 1/2" breaker bar and forged canister socket to break it loose. IMO, do not believe the extended oil change intervals. They are in the business to sell vehicles, not keep them alive. These engines have a huge number of small moving parts with very tight clearances. Crud in old oil will do them in. Change oil and filter frequently.... it is cheap compared to an engine replacement. Ditto for the trans fluid and filter. The gov't mandated 10 speed trannies are having problems across the board of all manufacturers, not just Toyota. This is why at 74 years old, I'm back doing my own service again. Edited October 15 by bgavin

Tow Package with Fifthwheel & Gooseneck setup even Plow Package. Z71 Package with skid plates . I got about everything I could get in the Custom except the trifold tailgate . I didn't think that would hold up well in Michigan with the snow & salt. I'm extremely happy with the 6.6L Gas Power , 4x4 Height , and Allison 10 speed . It feels like a truck . Not a dumb down truck all loaded up and drives like a car. A couple more weeks my paint matched topper will be in . I could not be happier with a truck . I thought I loved my Ram . But this is twice the truck my Ram ever was . The top Pic is my Old Truck. 2015 1500 Ram BigHorn 5.7L 4x4 And the Bottom is a Pic of a truck with the same topper I'm ordered for my new truck . 2025 2500HD Custom 6.6L Allison 10 Speed 4x4 1

I miss that truck and now I cant' find an affordable one anywhere. Been seven years and I have an Impala that's a great sedan but I can't haul anything but people and groceries and other light loads. 1

Rooster Ron Wayne
For what a new truck cost today . Better make sure you are getting exactly the truck you want the first time you buy . Because your going to have to keep it a very long time !
