Capt. James H. Callahan
Does anyone believe this? Looks like a plain roll of TP to me. I think they are peeing down our back and telling us it's rain 🤪 JHC
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
I’ve had some large rolls that would not fit in my tp holders. Somewhere on the package should be some numbers.
Capt. James H. Callahan
Their "regulars" must be those little 2 inch baby ones we used to take backpacking. JHC

Seamus McGillicuddy
Would you prefer corn cobs or the Sears catalogue? Â Seamus
Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474
Sears Catalogue please. Dried corncobs, while effective have...............................drawbacks.
bgavin
I look for the lowest number of sheets per roll. This indicates the strongest material and least likely to fall apart. Costco seems to offer the best pricing. I also notice some rolls are wider than "standard" which poses a problem in some mounts.

When Daddy was growing up he spent summers on his cousin's farm. 1930s. Outhouse. And corn cobs. Â He told me that there was a bucket of red corn cobs and a bucket of white corn cobs. The procedure was wipe with two red ones, then wipe with a white one to see if you needed another red one. 1

Alpo
On a survival board I was on years ago, they were talking about what to use when there was no longer any toilet paper. Phone books. Leaves. Corn cobs. Â And somebody come up with what I thought was an excellent idea. Washcloth in a bucket of water. Wash yourself clean, then ring out the rag and leave it for the next person. Lot more sense than trying to make something disposable.
