Green Mountain Regulators and SASS are proud to announce and host the SW Territorial Black Powder Championship along with the 15th Annual Regulators Revenge.

The dates are November 8th, 9th and 10th, the second weekend of the month. We will have our Long Range competition on Friday the 8th and the cowboy match will be Saturday and Sunday.
We will shoot 10 stages over the 2 days. 5 Stages on Saturday and 5 stages on Sunday.

Attached is the registration form and waiver. (Follow Link) Please type or print clearly as you fill them out we are recognizing categories based on SASS guidelines.
You do not need to shoot Black Powder, it would be cool if you did, but the Revenge is concurrent and open to smokeless.
Hope to see you there, it will be a great time!

When on the club page just click on the description sentence and it will take you to the PDF with the information sheet, application and waiver or the enclosed PDF.

Let me know if you have any questions or problems.

Thanks

  • Texas Maverick changed the title to SW Territorial Black Powder Championship along with the 15th Annual Regulators Revenge

If you haven't shoot The Revenge, you're missing out on one of the best matches bar none!

This is one of the matches that really give back to the shooters...it's not about how much money the club puts back into their pockets, but rather a big thank you to the CAS shooting community.

This is just one of our great items that will be handed out at the match.

A huge thank you to Alessandro Pietta of F.LLI Pietta one of out main match sponsors for the beautiful pair of 1858 Remington Stainless Steel Sheriff’s! These are sweet and yes, they are sequential! Someone will be taking them home!

What’s a good RV park to stay at?

Now you are asking hard questions. I will have to check around and see what others have to say since I have never stayed at any of them around here.

Patriot RV in Bertram, North or South is within a short driving distance to the range.

Sunset Point in Marble Falls, is nice as well.

i have no idea if they are street legal. Not even sure what you are asking. Do you want to walk down the street carrying one? It is Texas so not sure if anything isn't street legal but I can't say for sure.

I had to look it up.  Probably some are street legal if they have the proper requirements, but "I don't think" they are allowed as a gun cart at this match because not enough room on the range, if that was your question.

Can't speak for the board, but when I was around we always made allowances for those with medical needs.

And that is likely still the case.

Is there a schedule of events?

Will there be a cowboy yard sale?

I think the only thing posted is just the basics on the application form.  We just had our monthly match yesterday, and Leathersmith said lunch on Saturday would probably be BBQ's Brats, and Chicken on Sunday.  There has not been a yard sale in the past, though some people might put stuff on their tailgates, etc.  Look forward to seeing you!

And I guess a BP-championship of any sort is the right place for this: I just ran across a Goex case full (25) of empty Goex red metal cans.  A mixture of FFg and FFFg.  I don't need them and if anyone wants them I will bring them to the match. :)

The schedule of events is listed in the application doc. Long Range on Friday and 2 days for the main match on Saturday and Sunday.

Lunch on Saturday and Sunday.

We do not have a scheduled yard sale but in the past those that have something for sale are welcome to bring their items and they do it from their tailgate. We have a number of raffle and shooter prizes including a number of firearms.

It will be a great shoot. We currently have a little over 50 shooters registered so we have plenty of room still available.

Now I know what you are asking, it is legal but there isn't a lot of room for them to be running up and down the line. You would need to be very careful because you will be sharing it with shooters and their gun carts. We have had a few in the past but not a lot of shooters have brought them so we have never really addressed them.

We do not have a scheduled yard sale but in the past those that have something for sale are welcome to bring their items and they either do it from their tailgate or we  have a gathering site where there are tables and chairs under cover and  you are welcome to lay your items out there. We have a number of raffle and shooter prizes including a number of firearms.

They were posted on our FB page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/greenmountainregulators

Here is the info from that page.

Side matches will be on Saturday after lunch and we will have our usual speed matches to include, as always, 22 rifle and pistol, pocket pistol and derringer, main match pistols, rifle and shotgun, but we’ve added a new event this year.

FASTEST WILD BUNCH STAGE!!!
That’s right! Be sure to bring those wild bunch guns for some additional fun on Saturday!
