John Kloehr
The law can be twisted in so many ways. Hawaii's Federal judges even tried a new tack recently, the 2nd should be interpreted by Hawaii as to what it meant when Hawaii became a state rather than when the US became a nation. SCOTUS needs to slap these judges. Hawaii was bound by the original meaning as a condition of statehood. And what is this "properly registered" firearm bullcrap? Since when is it government's business to demand anything other than verifying its law-abiding citizens are armed? The state does not need a registration, only at most merely a checkbox confirming arms absent some religious objection to arms. 3 2 Quote Link to comment

The state has NO BUSINESS WHAT SO EVER about whether or not a citizen of the US has bought, owns or formerly owned a firearm. Their desire to do so is why they are pushing for universal background checks. This way they'll know whose door to knock down once the far left democrats gain enough power to abolish the 2nd Amendment. After which, they'll abolish the 1st Amendment and then the entire Constitution. Edited Tuesday at 12:26 PM by Sedalia Dave 2 Quote Link to comment

Not to mention several other amendments as well as parts of the main body of the Constitution! That we are still armed and they can’t be sure of who or what may be behind the next door is the only thing holding them back RIGHT NOW!
