Pards and pardettes,

I know some of the reloading powders are scarce now and who knows about the future but I came into a few pounds of Blue Dot. I hear it's great for 10mm,which I already load and carry, but I need some info. Anyone use BD in 44colr, 44-40,44spl/mag? I even heard 30-30......I have searched the web a lot but who knows about some of these yahoos....at least I trust some of the yahoos here more;). If you got a pet load, chrono and bullet size with Blue Dot, let me know please..what says the rogues gallery?

Blue Dot does have its favored calibers and bullet weights.

It ain't my favorite for 9mm or 10mm...... but its still a darn good performer in those calibers and very accurate.

Normally, it would be my favorite for 9mm but to achieve the performance I'm wanting, its a 'compressed' load.

And I prefer not to shoot compressed loads in Non-Magnum caliber pistols.

As mentioned above, check out the loading manuals and even the manufacturers website.

I'll try to post some of my personal load data later today.

You can run real m 10mm loads I know, but my usual 10mm is Longshot,  just got a ton of blue dot, definitely gonna load some 44 spl and maybe some 45 colt, I don't reload 9mm.

LongShot is also my favorite 10mm powder, along with Power Pistol.
