Train Hits Military truck with artillery load

Recommended Posts

Didn't look like there were any cars in front of the truck so not sure why he just sat there on the tracks. Couldn't tell if he high centered or something else. What a mess.

Not uncommon for drop decks like that to get stuck on those raised tracks. Even van trailers can hang up their landing gear on those humped crossbucks.

60 + tons of tank and more of the trailer and tractor didn't stand much of a chance against a freight train.

Not a tank - M109 howitzer

Like Cyprus Sun said, high centered. Look around on youtube. there are a LOT of those there. It doesn't take a lot with a long, low trailer and a even slightly raised crossing.

They might need State Farm! At least they've seen a thing or two!
