The answer is properly trained SROs in every school and a high level of security measures that are proven to be effective!!

 

This can be accomplished without any interruption of the students education and no detrimental effect on their learning or comfort!

When I was in high school back in the 70s, my brother and I drove to school in an old chevy pickup with a 30-30 rifle and a pump shotgun in a rack in the back window. We never even locked the truck in the school parking lot.
