watab kid
seems we are in that season again i just got told that two days ago - of course i didnt believe her but then a lot of folks might have , one thing about this four year cycle you can depend on is that there wil be someone and often more than one lying to you , if only they might tell the truth - think how much easier our lives might be , but then i lived that story above and was the target , so i learned a long time ago that it happens - just be ready and do your homework .............................
bgavin
Children are also easily bulled by an adult authority figure. Except here in CA... where the children terrorize the teachers. I'm currently reading the Bill O'Reilly book "Killing the SS". Anne Frank was mentioned, being killed in the concentration camps only a few weeks before the end of the war. Pat Riot
As a poor kid growing up in SW PA coal country I witnessed and was the object of a very odd form of peer oppression on a daily basis. Over time it taught me to speak up and fight if need be. Unfortunately or fortunately, I learned in adulthood how that can impact a career. I am not trying to equate myself with Ann Frank in any way. My experience taught me to speak for myself and to speak for others that can’t or won’t. This has cost me jobs, promotions and friends, well, so-called friends. I wouldn’t have it any other way. 7
Blackwater 53393
I learned lond ago that a position of authority does not endow someone with the right to be a bully! It cost me grades in school a couple of times and a job or two as well!! My willingness to confront bullying and brow beating hasn’t diminished. I’m just not as mobile as I used to be! If you’re willing to stand by and let someone push others around, you probably won’t take exception to the things that some in positions of power want to do to our country and the citizens who live here. Depriving the citizenry of a Constitutional right, ANY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT, is the highest level of bullying!! irish ike, SASS #43615
8th grade teacher was trying to make a point about telling stories or rumors. So she handed a kid a note and said read this and then turn and repeat what it said to the kid behind you. And so on until the last kid had been told the story. 25 or so kids were told the story. She then had the last kid stand up and repeat what was said. Then she had the first kid stand up and read exactly what the story was. It was completely different. Things were dropped and added onto. So don't spread rumors. Sort of like the media.

It does when they hold the future to your employment. The same employment that pays the mortgage and puts food on the table. This is the same method used by those who bully women athletes to accept men as competitors and in their locker rooms and showers. It is the fear of losing their scholarship, the fear of losing the years invested in training, and the potential loss of income in retirement. The tax man, the employer, the bank, the insurance company and medical community all have to power be the bully. They hold all the cards. What would you do, right now, if a bully cut off your income? Right now. What would you do? I fully appreciate your desire to stand up for what is right. However, I have been in the position where myself and family are in the hands of a complete jerk. I could run my mouth and said jerk would ruin my life with the stroke of a pen. Next best thing: figure out how to get away as fast as possible.
Blackwater 53393
Most of the time, it’s better to just have your say and walk away!! If you allow someone to control your life you’re going to wind up worse off in the long run than if you just start over. I had to do this more than once!
